Have three facts ready
- 01What happened. A pipe, an appliance, a backup, a roof, or you do not know yet. “I do not know” is a real answer and a common one.
- 02When it started. An hour ago and last month lead to completely different work, and to different answers from an insurer.
- 03Whether water is still moving. If it is, that is the first thing anyone will want to change.
You may also be asked roughly how many rooms are affected, and whether the property is yours to authorise work on. Work on a building is signed for by the owner or the managing agent — that question is not about you, it is about who can sign.

What this site is
A published number and a set of pages. The call is routed to an independent restoration contractor covering your area. We do not extract water, dry anything, remove mold, or send anyone: we connect, and the contractor decides and performs the work.
That means the practical questions — when someone can be there, what it will cost, what equipment they carry — are theirs to answer, not ours. We would be guessing, and a guess in that position is worse than silence.
What is not worth calling about
An invoice or a payment. There is no account here and no billing department. If a contractor has already invoiced you, that conversation is with them.
Work already under way. If a crew is at your house or coming back tomorrow, the quicker route is the number they gave you, not this one.
A wet phone or a flooded car. Genuinely common on these pages and genuinely not this trade.
Chronic seepage through a foundation after every heavy rain. That is waterproofing — a different specialism, usually a capital job, and not an emergency call.
